Kay + Mac

The Partnership

We have been besties since Mac was in the 6th grade and Kay was in 7th thanks to gymnastics. A year later, we switched to a competitive team and started staying the night together every night so our parents could take turns driving us to practice and meets. Pretty soon we felt more like sisters than besties. We love {most} of the same things, but at the same time no one has ever proved opposites attract more than we have. We are each others missing puzzle piece and that’s why, we work together so well. We’re always there for each other and I mean always. We talk on the phone at least 5x a day. 1x because we are awake and are saying good morning, 3x (or more) because of our business, another because we’re bored, and another because something in one of our lives happened and we have to tell the other immediately. We both have been wanting to start a planning business for forever, but neither of us could actually do it without a nudge from the other! We are LOVING being business partners + are so excited for all the new weddings we have booked + are going to book!

Hey it’s Kayla, the “Kay” in Kay + Mac! 

I’m an animal loving, color loving, planning loving, Oklahoma girl who loves her family & friends more than the whole world. 

I’m originally from Talala, OK & even though I’ve moved around a bit & traveled as much as possible, Talala has always been my “home”!

Four years ago I met my honey, eight months later we moved away to Missouri & on August 4th we celebrated our two year wedding anniversary! 🥰

We are the fur parents of five - four pups & a kitty.❣️We are extremely happy to announce that we movEd back home (Talala) and had our beautiful baby Charlie! I’m also super excited to be doing life + this business journey with my bestie girl + business partner Mac. 

About Micayla

Hi! I’m Micayla, the “Mac” in Kay + Mac! 

I love planning + feel so blessed to be starting this adventure with my bestie girl but my most favorite titles are “mama” and “wifey.” When I was just barely 15, I met my sweetheart (Chase Hendrix) at our hometown rodeo. 5 years later I became a cattle hauler’s wife + a mama to Sally (1 year) and Ava Jayne (1 month)! I received my bachelors from Oklahoma State in 2019 but decided I didn’t want to leave my baby from 8-5, so Kayla & I took the ”coordinating leap” & throughout the week, you will find Sally Ann & I working part time for my dad as a legal assistant. My favorite things are Jesus, bestie girls, family, sunshine, summer, pink, horses, celebrating, and pretty flowers. I take a lot of pictures to freeze the good moments + I like to live life on the sunny side!
